My cousin Joe arrived in London last night. He's been in Oz for most of the last 18 months and is passing through on his way back to Dublin & home. Joe's looking seriously tanned, got a bit of a beard going but looks in good health, and is defintely in good spirits. We stayed up and chatted for a while, and I booked his flight back to Dublin. So he's staying with us till Saturday morning before returning to the mother country. In the meantime, he's Joe the tourist in London. Joe is a Carolan, but we won't hold that against him. And it is important to remember that he is 8 days younger than I, so I am wiser & older than he. I've suggested various touristy things, and firstly that he should go on the tour buses as they are great way to see a lot of the sites in a short space of time. After that, on foot, its Buckingham Palace, Westminister, Tower of London & St Pauls. National Gallery & Tate Modern as he was an art student before heading for Oz, and then the British Museum because its brilliant.
