So as some of you should know I have being coughing & spluttering of late, and hopefully that is now largely over.
I had a Chest Infection, started just before I came home for Ciaran's Christening, and I was largely out of action for that week, which sucked as it was a 4 day stay at home with my family. I spent too much of that trip in bed asleep, but when I got back to the UK I stayed off work and went to the doctor, though it had to be the NHS Walk-In clinic as you have to plan illness with doctors.

But ho hum, first round of anti-biotics were weak and didn't really clear it up, so I went back two weeks ago (again just before a flight home) but this time coughing wasn't accompanied by dizziness & temperature, so I was able to see family & be sociable. My latest course of anti-biotics seem to have done wonders for my system. I was worried when I was prescribed medicine that came with the warning, "this make you nauseous". But Erythroped A for the win people. I didn't spend the week waking up coughing and I barely cough at all anymore, so I can move forward away from that illness and look to get healthier in general. Fitness will be the key for a egg & chicken approach to Brian's general fitness general plan.

Some jogging to begin with, before joining a gym near home that I can & would go to 3 to 5 times a week. Last gym I was going to was beside work, and that meant I could only use it during the week. So something in the Hammersmith area will give me a few evenings a week plus a Saturday or Sunday morning session time. And in the New Year, I am going to take up Tag Rugby, I've already looked into it, the current season of competitions ends this coming Monday, so I'll wait till the next ones are announced and register as an individual to be assigned a team. Finsbury Park will be a bit of a trek on a Monday night, so hopefully the Sunday sessions in Wandsworth Common will start up in early Spring.

Oh and the benefit of antibiotics that have to be taken after food, King crisp sandwiches in the evening
